www.cyclingbargains.com racing team begin development with major signing
Ellistown based www.cyclingbargains.com - Infinis Racing Team have today announced 28 year old Daniel Booth from Ibstock will join the team with immediate effect.
Daniel joins his father, Martin in the team as the Cyclo Cross season starts to take shape and lists his attack on some of the Cyclo Cross National Trophy events as his early aims throughout the winter season. He will also strengthen the road team in the spring as the 10 man squad aims to improve on some of their achievements made in 2008.
Although primarily a Cross rider Daniel Booth comes to the team with a strong pedigree gained from experience on and off road. Having won the Junior National Cross Trophy in 1997 and finishing 17th in the World Championships he moved to Belgium where he rode professionally until 2001 in major under 23 events such as Paris Roubaix. During his time on the continent he rose to 56th in the overall world cycling rankings. Upon his return to the UK he then became National under 23 Cyclo Cross Champion and went onto finish 5th in this years senior National Cross Championships. On the road Booth showed he could mix it with the best when he finished 11th in this years Cicle Classic alongside National Road Race Champion Rob Hayles.
