Palmer takes on the Neil Gardner Memorial
David Palmer riding for www.cyclingbargains.com - Infinis Racing Team rode the 101km Neil Gardner Memorial Road Race on Sunday 10th August in Bedfordshire.
On the windy morning Palmer jumped clear on the first lap but paid for the early effort suffering for 2 laps later on. He managed to remain with his breakaway group and came home 6th in the final sprint behind race winner Andy Eagers. Palmer was pleased to have hung on and disappointed to not take a top 5 placing but with 3 races still remaining for the season Palmer will be in action again later this month.
Ben Jeeves of www.cyclingbargains.com - Infinis Racing Team was also in action this weekend in the Sleepless in the saddle 24hr Mountain Bike Race in Staffordshire. Jeeves who turned 21 on Saturday decided to celebrate in style with a cycling 'all nighter' riding in a guest team with 3 friends in the mammoth event.
Team manager, Rod Freeman said, "This kind of diverse riding in multiple disciplines shows how flexible the team is and it is great for sponsors to see their names associated with cycling in this way. We are delighted the support that Infinis renewable energy has been able to offer the team this year and we look forward to working with them again next year."
