www.cyclingbargains.com Racing Team have today announced 2002 Junior National Time Trial Champion Carl Dyson will join the team for the 2008 season.

Carl got his 2008 season off to a flying start on New Year's day with his first race in Racing Team colours with 15th place in the Coalville Wheelers Cyclo Cross event at Giffydam. Carl has been trying out some Cyclo Cross events in the off season in an attempt to retain his excellent form from his 2007 road season in the hope it can carry through into 2008 and deliver the team some early season results.

Carl now plans an 8 week road training campaign including time training abroad with his new team before his next race on 1st March. This will be the Northants Cycle Racing Association opening road race at Middleton. Traditionally Carl has ridden well in the race series, but without a team to support his bid for overall series success. This year Carl will be joined by another new signing and past race series winner, Michael Cowland. www.cyclingbargains.com Racing Team will also field David Palmer, Jon Crookes, Harvey Levann and Rod Freeman in the spring series. www.cyclingbargains.com, an on-line cycle components retailer, also sponsors the race series.

Team Manager, Rod Freeman said, "Carl has ridden the legs off us all over the past few years and I am delighted he has agreed to ride with the team. He will be a strong asset to the senior team and will lead our under 23 squad. I also hope Carl will bring time trial strength to the team in stage races and national events."

Michael Cowland, who also joined the team for 2008 said, "I have raced against Carl for a number of years and he is a respected rider. I am looking forward to working with him."

www.cyclingbargains.com Racing Team will officially launch their team line-up for 2008 and name their sponsors for the forthcoming road season at their team launch on 2nd February 2008.
